Cara Hanks, Principal

Cara Elizabeth Hanks

Cara is the 17-year-old daughter of Brad and  Whitney Hanks. She is a senior at St. Louis Catholic High School. This is Cara’s second year as a principal dancer and her 15th year of dance training.  Cara has participated in many LCCB Summer Intensive workshops. Cara has enjoyed performing with LCCB in roles such as a Russian Dancer and the Lead Hawaiian Dancer in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Catherine LeBleu in Christmas in Louisiana: Once Upon a Time, and the Gryphon in Alice in Wonderland.  Cara is the Executive Vice President of Student Council, Vice President of Library Society, and is involved in the National Honor Society, Ambassadors, Sweethearts, FBLA, and the Spanish Club.  She also volunteers at Catholic Charities.  In her free time, Cara enjoys reading, traveling, listening to music, and watching movies.

Clara Lang, Principal

Clara Burke Lang

Clara is the 17-year-old daughter of Erin and Stephen Lang. She is a senior, honor student at St. Louis Catholic High School. This is Clara’s third year as a principal dancer and her 15th year of dance training, 12 with Lady Leah Lafargue School of the Dance. Clara has participated in many LCCB Summer Intensive workshops as well as spending a summer at the New York State Summer School of the Arts, Ballet Austin, and Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program. This year Clara attended the NYC Rockettes Summer Intensive, as well as the Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program. Clara has enjoyed performing with LCCB in roles such as Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland, part of the trio in Ave Maria, one of the Wise Men in The Little Drummer Boy, part of the trio in Who’s Got the Pain, and a Puppet and the lead Japanese dancer in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. In addition to being an active member of the National Honors Society, St. Louis Catholic High School Ambassadors, Helping Hands, and Earth Club, Clara is Captain of the Sweethearts Danceline, Editor of the Trumpet Newspaper, Secretary of the French Club, and a Senator on Student Council. In her free time, Clara enjoys reading, playing with her dog, and spending time with family.

Carmen LeJeune, Principal

Carmen Sabine LeJeune

Carmen is the 16-year-old daughter of Keagan and Melanie LeJeune and is a junior at Saint Louis Catholic High School. This is Carmen’s first year as a principal dancer and her 10th year of dance training, 8 of them being with Lady Leah Lafargue School of the Dance. She has also participated in many LCCB Summer Intensives. Her roles with LCCB include The Duck in Alice in Wonderland and a Scottish Dancer in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  Carmen serves as Junior Class Vice President in Student Council, Treasurer of Concert Choir, and Historian of Junior Classical League. She is also a member of Key Club, National Honor Society, Ambassadors, Helping Hands, Students for Life, Book Club, and Show Choir. In her free time, Carmen enjoys playing the piano, listening to music, singing, and spending time with friends, family, and her many pets.

Abbie Grace Milligan, Principal

Abbie Grace Milligan

Abbie Grace is the 18-year-old daughter of Leslie and Patrick Milligan. She is a senior at St. Louis Catholic High School. This is Abbie Grace’s third season as a principal dancer. She is in her 15th year of dance training, 13 with Lady Leah Lafargue School of the Dance, and has participated in many LCCB Summer Intensive workshops. Additional summer training for Abbie Grace includes two summers at Houston Ballet Academy, a summer at Ballet Austin Academy, and a summer with American Ballet Theater in Austin. She has enjoyed many roles performing with LCCB including the Golden Weasel in Monkey Shines, Baby Swan (pas de quatre) in Swan Lake, a Jester in Cinderella, one of the Wise Men in The Little Drummer Boy, Scottish dancer and Rudolph in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Fall (pas de deux) in Seasons, a feature in The Fall of Venus, Snowbunny in Christmas in Louisiana: Once Upon a Time, and the Mock Turtle in Alice in Wonderland. At St. Louis, Abbie Grace is an active member of Ambassadors, Earth Club, Students for Life Spanish Club, and is a Student Council Senator, National Honor Society President, Students for Life Treasurer, and Captain of the Sweethearts. She volunteers for Abraham’s Tent, Manna Ministry, Villa Maria, Catholic Charities, and vacation bible schools.

Meredith Owen, Principal

Meredith Elaine Owen

Meredith is the 16-year-old daughter of Chris and Kathy Owen and is a junior at St. Louis Catholic High School. This is Meredith’s first year as a principal dancer. She has studied ballet for 10 years, 8 of them being with Lady Leah Lafargue School of the Dance. Meredith has participated in many LCCB Summer Intensives. Her roles while dancing with LCCB include The Lory in Alice in Wonderland, and Arabian dancer in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Meredith is an active member of the Diocese of Lake Charles Core Team and is on the team for Christ the King’s Teen ACTS retreat. At St. Louis she serves as Vice President of Students for Life, JCL, and is on the Executive Board for Helping Hands. Meredith is also a part of National Honor Society, Ambassadors, Student Council, the Trumpet Newspaper, Liturgical Choir and Show Choir. Meredith received the St. Louis Award from her class during her sophomore year. In her free time, Meredith enjoys drawing, playing with her dogs, singing, and being with friends and family.

Lauren Reyes, Principal

Lauren Danielle Reyes

Lauren is the 17-year-old daughter of Daniel and Anna Reyes. She is a senior at St. Louis Catholic High School. Lauren is in her 14th year of dance study, 12 with Lady Leah Lafargue School of the Dance. Additional dance training for Lauren includes many LCCB Summer Intensive Workshops. This is Lauren’s third year as a principal dancer and has performed in roles such as Kari Doll, Russian dancer and Puppet in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Fox in Ou Est la Fox, one of the trio in Who’s Got the Pain, a Jester in Cinderella, Summer in Seasons, a Snowbunny in Christmas in Louisiana: Once Upon a Time, and the title role in Alice in Wonderland.  At St. Louis, she is an active member of Ambassadors, Helping Hands, Students for Life, Earth Club, Spanish Club, Show Choir and is a Senior Class Senator for Student Council, the Senior Representative for Key Club, the Secretary of National Honor Society, and a Co-Captain of the Sweethearts. Lauren is an altar server at OLQH Catholic Church and has volunteered in the community at CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital. In her free time, Lauren enjoys singing, playing guitar and spending time with family and friends.

Mary-Elizabeth Rosteet, Principal

Mary-Elizabeth Marie Rosteet

Mary-Elizabeth is the 16-year-old daughter of Daniel and De Ann Rosteet. She is a junior at St. Louis Catholic High School. Mary-Elizabeth is in her 13th year of dance study with Lady Leah Lafargue School of the Dance. She has additionally spent many summers participating in LCCB Summer Intensive Workshops. Mary-Elizabeth has performed in roles such as the Mom in The Tortoise and His Hair, Eaglet in Alice in Wonderland, and Scottish Dancer in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. At St. Louis, she is an active member of Student Council, Helping Hands, and Ambassadors. In her free time, Mary-Elizabeth enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
